Exhibition statement
Over a two year period I read Weir's writing & love letters, travelled the roads & paths he travelled on a century ago, had long conversations with his grandson, and visited his original works of art in homes & museums. It was a transformative experience.
Art is what connects us to the divine, to the mystery of what it is to be alive, that we lose touch with whenever we separate ourselves from who and where we are.
